there's another version sung by a children's choir.. for some reason (i think it's the innocence of the children who still have many years before them), this version touches me alot more even though the quality is not as good..

met shuhui and mr hee for dinner today at vivocity's sushu teh.. we had jap food and i didnt want sushi / sashimi and sh and me ordered chicken cutlet rice so mr hee was like why did we wanna eat jap? hehe oh well.. i had dessert! their dessert's quite cheap too..

we got himb a $100 vivocity voucher.. which he didnt expect (but then he paid for our dinner) and he's been paying for alot of my meals and stuff so yep i think it reasonable.. :) and we turned the voucher envelope into the bday card..

and i took a super big step into my future today.. well not significantly.. but it was a very expensive step! hehe i paid up SGD$~12k to accept my offer to study at la trobe.. things are gg to be freakingly mad in one week's time! thats the estimated time when we'll get the confirmation of enrollement, then have to apply for student visa (preferably through IDP), and will have to go through the health screening AGAIN! (we were already screened 3 years ago! how many times do they have to do tt??) yep and once the student visa's done we're technically good and ready to go!

so things to settle til then will be

• accomodation
• air tics
• packing - this is SOOOO going to be a huge headache..

but nevertheless... i am awfully excited! hehe

i went shopping with Joycelyn today! hehe she just came back from New Zealand, and got me a box of chocolate stuff! ahhha i love Joycelyn! AND she found that mysterious coffee liqueor (sp??) that i first saw @ Jason's house! hehe havent collected it yet though cos it was too heavy to drag along while shopping!

Joycelyn had to drag a HUGE paperbag around orchard though cos e laundry shop @ serangoon central REFUSED to accept the 2 big (and soft and REALLY cuddly) bears it contained. they were like "go home and wash yourself". now. if she wanted to do that in the first place, she wouldnt have brought it out, would she? some ppl are just plain wierd! roars. hehe oh well.

we had fun! i think my friends are really really really patient people! hehe they stand all kinds of nonsense from me! i love you all, people! *muacks!*

and i FINALLY got my atm card today! like... 1 month before i fly to australia! ahha oh well.. i swear my card is EVIL! it kept calling out to me to spend $$$! and i did!! oh dear. i have horrible self restraint. hehe i bought many many many stuff today! felt nice and rich for once.. hehe and there were so many plastic bags that they didnt fit on the toilet door hook! i had to wait for joycelyn to come out to help carry my stuff..

and we ate and ate and ate again! dear joycelyn is retarded! she wanted bubble tea, so we went to the bbt shop, and she ordered "green tea, no pearls, no milk". after she got her drink i was like so why didnt u just go to cold storage and get a can? hehe she was like "oh ya hor!"

after stuffing ourselves @ coffeebean, she had her abovementioned green tea, which she drank 1/3 of, then threw away, then i dragged her to this HK cafe thingy @ cine for their humongous mango ice. she had like 5 spoonfuls, the thing collasped, and i managed to finish about 1/3 of it, then we were both COLD and FULL, so we left the thingy.. hehe the staff there must think we are wierd ppl. =)

yep and i will be embarking on another of life's journeys... 1 year in australia! really looking forward to it! hehe life there should be exciting, though like there'll be 10 familiar faces! which is good and bad i suppose.. i'll be leaving in early july, around the same time as joycelyn!

omg! Angel is so cute! ahhha she just buried her pig's ears twice! in my sofa! she did the whole works too! digging a "hole", then trying her best to stuff the bone in, then covering it with my bedsheet! she was like push push nudge nudge.. there! oh gosh oh gosh! hehe then i toook it out, and she went to bury it again in a different spot on the sofa! and then she went to rub her scent all over the sofa.. how cute is that??

ahha but she has a lousy short term memory too! hehe after her second hiding, she was trying to look for her bone.. digging about in the first spot she hid it. oh gosh oh gosh my puppy is sooo cute! ahhha so she IS a dog after all!

oh well.. attachment's over! hehe i think i've been really really lucky this time round. my supervisor was super nice! hehe and he juggles! ahhha rights.. i was darn scared of him in the 2nd week though, cos he always wears this super fierce expression which makes him look rather scary..

and i've been spending a freaking lot of $$!!! ahh i'm broke! gg out w joycelyn and kyy makes me hungry! and i cut and colored by hair again.. it's super fluffy now! like *poof* and dry = straw. sigh. hehe been spending alot of $$ on hair and skincare/hair products and even more on FOOD and DRINKS! roar... me FAT! ahhh.. we went back to the wine place again, and ordered another nice sounding wine, which turned out suspiciously like e one we had e other day! and i ended everything w a cup of coffee! ahhha which turned out to be e nicest drink! (yes yes i know NUTs about wine). blah. i do not like blogging when i suddenly forget everything i wanted to blog abt. oh well.
